It was amazing experience, they are so caring about your safety and pleasant experience, they took us to a beautiful cave that has so special beautiful fish that only seen in the cave. It was my first cave diving which gave me so much excitement. They pick us up with the antique car and gave us good price for diving. Also got certificate from them. It was really great experience with them. We will go out with them again next year! Thank you so much.

Rene, the dive master was very knowledgeable and responsible person. He briefed us before heading to the dive and told about basic signals and expected sea life we will see. The dive centre is big, has a toilet and a small shop. The dives started from the shore - depth up to 14m, marvellous and beautiful corals gardens and small narrow corridors.

Had an amazing time with Renee, who is an absolute professional and very kind. The conditions weren't safe enough for our planned wreck dive (I agreed wholeheartedly) so we ended up doing a reef and some cave diving, and it was fantastic. We even got some great photography in. I would definitely book here again! Thank you so much!

I have been a client of Scuba Vida since December 2015 and have visited multiple times to scuba dive with Rene. I completed both my PSS Open Water and Advanced certifications with Rene as my instructor. (For those unfamiliar, PSS is a highly reputable Italian certification. Due to U.S. embargo restrictions, PADI isn’t accessible to instructors in Cuba, but PSS offers equivalent training recognized around the world). The variety of dive sites I’ve tried with this center is pretty incredible, given how small Cuba is: cenotes (freshwater caves), night dives, wall dives in Matanzas and the Bay of Pigs, a bull shark dive and unforgettable drift dive in Santa Lucia. While boat dives are restricted in Cuba due to government regulations, many of the shore dives are deep enough to simulate boat dive access.The dive center is run by a lovely, down to earth couple - René and Celina - out of their multi-level home, which also doubles as an AirBnB. As a side note: Celina makes the best Cuban coffee I’ve ever had and is an incredible cook!What sets this dive center apart is Rene’s understanding of his clients’ needs. His English is very good, and his familiarity with Canadian culture (from visiting his family several times) means he knows how to make guests feel comfortable while still offering an authentic Cuban experience. That said, I respect that he’s also fully transparent about the realities of life in Cuba (like power outages or resource limitations). He’s a great problem solver so he ensures things always run smoothly.Grateful for this home away from home and all of the heart and soul they put into running their business.

Title: Amazing diving experience with Scuba Vida!

Last August, I had the opportunity to go diving with Scuba Vida in Varadero, and it was an unforgettable experience. The whole team was so friendly and professional, making me feel safe and welcome at every moment.

What I loved most was the sense of community they created. It didn’t just feel like a dive trip, but like being part of a family. Their passion for the ocean and care for their guests really shows, and it made the experience even more special.

If you’re in Cuba and want a safe, fun, and memorable diving adventure, I can’t recommend Scuba Vida enough!
